Hey, I'm Mehedi
How I got here
I lead design teams, build products for startups, and teach designers. This is how I got here.
I grew up in Jessore, Bangladesh. Started with Fiverr gigs in 2016, no mentor, no plan. Ten years later I lead design across three companies and published the country's first UX book in Bangla.
I care about two things: building products that ship, and making sure the next generation of Bangladeshi designers doesn't have to figure it all out alone.

What I believe
Lead by building
I don't believe in design leadership that stays in meetings. I build alongside my team. At MoveOn, I built the design system from scratch. At Orviko, I lead designers while still shipping work. The best way to earn trust is to do the work.
Teach in your own language
Most design resources are in English. For designers in Bangladesh, that's a barrier. I wrote the first Bangla UX book, ran affordable workshops, and create content in Bangla. Design education shouldn't have a language tax.
Ship with the team, not for them
I've been inside startups since 2018. I don't hand off mockups and disappear. I sit with engineers, adjust scope when timelines shift, and stay until the product ships.

My primary workspace is Figma, FigJam, and Claude. I use Illustrator when I need precision, Photoshop for quick edits, and Notion when I need to think in public.
